Wierd stuff with my car. I come to a stoplight and have the car in manumatic mode. Light turns green and I give it gas to find out I cannot shift anymore. Its stuck in D and not in manumatic mode. Once I turn it off it was back to normal. We have ghosts in our cars.

During last years Santa Cruz run, my radio inexplicably powered off while driving down I-80. When we stopped at Fairfield, I checked all the fuses and they were fine. I drove the rest of the way pissed off and in silence but on the way back the radio came on and everything worked again, it hadn't even lost any of my presets. It had never done that before and hasn't since....... ghosts in the machine?

^lol that happened to me one time on my trip back to school. I would drive with it fine for like 20-30 mins then it would turn off and if i turned it back on no sound. I stop, turn of the car and back on and it would work for another 20-30 mins and then no sound again. I was mid sub install and i wiggled around my wires but found nothing wrong but since then it has stopped just as quickly as it started.

My radio went out the other night and was just stuck on one channel. Could not change anything. But it would turn off and come back to the same thing. As soon as I turned the car off and on, all good again. Coincidence? I am starting to wonder!!

ghost in the car? jay, the ghost is you. stop hiding and come chill sometime.

just a heads up. one time i went to start my auto g and the tcs, airbag and "slip" lights were on and the dash would show what gear i was in (P R N D) it was just blank. then when i put it in reverse it clunked really hard and jerk the car. limped it 2 miles to serramonte inifiniti (this was before they closed down obviously) and they looked at it and turned out to be faulty ecu grounds. held it over night and everything was covered under warranty, 0 problems ever since. knock on wood.
