RE: Brian Crower Stroke Kit Again
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know how excited I am to get another Stroke Kit installed on my new motor. This time I hope it last.

So, last time I had my Stroker Kit was the Black Angus meet in Fremont! I'm glad I did cause Tu was there with his beast..but anyway, I was coming thru Gilroy on a Saturday late afternoon...Doing about 125mph on 101 tempting CHP hahaha! All of sudden I heard what sounded like a rod get thrown..clink..clank boom! I pulled off and found that the had no only a leak coming from the plenum but a small crack on the lateral edge of the block..Once my cousin and I stripped it down the last cylinder was fried..took the car to my dealership and they said that they would help me out..So they did..Thats why when I went to the Cattlemans meet of course late but I was a little sad after looking at Chads beast..but you still got me beat by one or more motors! j/k its all fun just check your consumption levels..funny thing is on all my oil changes never once did I have a metal shaving! Sh** happens life moves on, however, once I get the kit in again I will get it tuned by EIP since they did my tune last time..after that I think A vortech is in store with the GTM 3 upgrade..I want no less then 500hp/450tq on 91 with about 9-11psi daily driver

Yeah! They pretty much saved me a lot cash..it got worked out so that the remaining factory warranty covered it but not all of it due to the fact that I modded it..I only spent $850.00 out of pocket to have it replaced..

I wouldn't go that far, but when u have a good relationship with ur service dept. they are willing to see that u get taken care of. I have had all my work done at the dealership except the Stroker Kit. Air Intake, Headers, Exhaust Rims and Tires etc...I put some money in there wallets and help there techs out..I mean there are guys that like to do side work we all know this..So to do my next version with the V3 full kit and GTM 3 I have got a tech from a dealership to help my cousin with installs..then I will tow it to EIP..which by the way if a tech gets caught performing services on our cars, they can get terminated.

Mine you they knew about the stroke motor, however my cousin and I stripped it down and then took it to the dearler, which they said wouldn't be a problem..but don't ask me which one cause I will not tell...per service manager..
