if your bride hasn't ever been to Vegas I'd only stay for a few days, she may not like it. It takes a certain kind of person, in my opinion, to deal with that city for more than 3 days. If she does like it, then your first anniversary is taken care of because you'll be going back for that weekend. Personally I think you can find much better places to honeymoon than Vegas, but if you are looking at a budget that doesn't have room for a long flight it's not a bad play if you can get yourself a few deals. If money isn't an issue go to Hawaii or any place you can find with a long slice of sand and some mai tai's
