It is a scam..I had tons of these emails when trying to sell my truck only respond to people that call you personally. Write them an email stating that you work with the law enforcement agency..see if you get a response back...betcha you dont

I work at a bank and I get a dozen of those every week from people selling stuff on craigslist. Anytime someone over pays you and asks to send some fund back is always a sign of a scam.

ask that person to deposit money into your bank account.

You usually never hear from them again after that.

I once told a guy who was sending me such emails that it was the lamest scam method in the book and I'm surprised that anyone would even go for it anymore

So he answered with this. "Let's come up with some other way to make money"

I told him to fvck off.

oh and 1 of the newest scams is the "paypal" one where they will send u a fake email which to a non comp literate person would look "real" shows prices, emails, website, etc. but the catch is on first line is like "funds have been received we will release the funds into your account once a tracking number has been sent" or something similar... now a days the scammers suck i should teach them better tatics... haha..

Lead them on and mess with them, act like you are going to pay but just can't quite figure it out. I have seen some funny email and phone exchanges with scammers, like those Nigerian spam email chains.

Ya I've already started sending him weird e-mails. Then I asked him if he wanted to enlarge his *****. And that I'm trying to send the money but my Secretary from Nigeria can't figure out how to communicate with me seeing as I don't understand clicks and jibberish.
