I did a search and all that came out were threads on detailing. I'm looking for hand wash, no pressure washers, no railings.. these are my only requirements.. i dont want wax, just soap and water and dry.. and no automated car washes.

Any recommendations around San Jose? Thanks a lot!

Classic car wash on Almaden/Cherry is hand wash but has railings... if your wheels arent too wide you would be fine, i happen to have a coupon book for 3 free washes there (about $16 value each) i can sell you all 3 for $30 if your interested.

I wash my own car so I have no need for this, but i have taken my car there in the past and they do a good job, lemme know

Country Car Wash on Stevens Creek does hand wash without the machine they usually use... Not sure how much the hand wash alone is... I think it's $30

I freakin love this place. It's been a while, but their standard car wash was $15 the last time I went. It's been a couple years so maybe their prices have gone up a couple dollars, hopefully not to $30 though. It's pretty cool, they have your car on a conveyor thing but instead of having a bunch of automated brush machines, it's basically an assembly line of dudes with towels. (no homo) Then they usually have 1-2 guys dry your car+vacuum your. They even use a little air gun to get out all of the water from around the seams.

I really like Classic Car Wash also, but never went there too often.

Beshoff Infiniti off Tully does awesome hand washes with the two bucket system, just like I would at home.. and you guys know how picky I am. They even have a separate indoor washroom for the washes - no machines to be found.

+1 for Beshoff Infiniti. hell, they'll even detail your car too for cheap, talk to Beshoffdru or BeshoffBrian and see if they could hook you up with that 99 detail special! nice wash outside, good detail both outside and inside! --cant go wrong
