How long does the extended plan cover, Andy? So far I've had my power supply replaced twice by Apple Store.

The warranty covers a total of 3 years, Matt. In the past, I have always purchased the AppleCare Plan at the store. This has held true for ipods, ipod touch, iphones, powerbooks, ibooks, etc. However, I decided not to get the in store Applecare this time around.

I'm glad that I waited. You can always add the extra protection plan prior to the expiration of the default one year warranty plan.
