Recommendations for Body Shop/Paint

I just got an oem front lip from another member in SLO. It had a 3in crack that was repaired, but not fully prepped/sanded. It needs to be sanded down, primered, and painted. But the lip is already BS and I'm painting it the same color. Would it be possible to just paint the repaired part and blend the rest, or is that a no no, or even possible? I'm not looking to spend much, so would you recommend I sand it down myself? Can anyone recommend a good shop that does decent work at a fair price? I called a local place and he said he'd charge $50 to paint it which is really cheap, but that means I'd have to sand it, etc. What are my options?

Do the whole thing. An OEM lip shouldnt be much to sand prep and paint. I doubt any reputable place would want to try and spot paint it.

^ that's what I thought.. just seeing if it was a viable option.. I was thinking under $150 total, so is that a stretch? I can always sand it myself lol
