You do know why right? ATT is based out of Texas with their biggest office being here in San Ramon (the building is second largest in the nation, smaller to only the pentagon)... these areas and their surrounding areas will definitely have great service from them, especially since all their corporate employees, main techs, etc... live in the area. They even offer fiber to the home if you're close enough.

I've been with Verizon for a couple of years now and have loved their service. Luckily I made this thread becuase I had no idea that a newer iPhone is due to release soon. I for sure thought that I was the only one that didn't have one, becuase I see everybody and their mom with iPhones all day.

i dont like verizon..... i will be hopping onto the iphone wagon in the summer also!

My sister works at Verizon and told me that same thing about the Storm. People are constantly complaining about the speed and the phone in general.

i don't have an iphone...i don't really care for it either. i'm still on my well worn 3 year old Nokia 6682. i much prefer a tactile keypad i can touch. i guess the only way i would use one if it was free.

I have the storm and it works great. The people complaining about the storm are the people that don't know how to use a BlackBerry. If you don't close out the programs properly they run in the background and slow the phone down. Its a business tool and some people got it just to be up on things and have no idea how to use it.

It is a complex phone/pda that's for sure....

yeah, its one of those phones that one would use for office work. I like it as a tool but if I wanted entertainment the iPhone is the phone to have.

Interesting... I like the storm over other BlackBerry phones I've had. I haven't had any trouble with mine yet and it gets the job done. I use the Touch for my vids & music but it sucks hauling my phone + ipod.

You can't get the phone cheaper. It's set at that price even for apple employees, like myself. My friend works at ATT but they can only discount the rate plan.

I doubt there will be a new phone in June, but you never know with apple. It's certainly possible.
