Anyone get stopped by cops? I got pulled over driving back home on my block,LOL >.< the cop was hella cool though, he pulled me over for 'obstructed license plate' and 'loud exhaust' .. he asked what my plate says, I explained the KungFuPanda thing and he was totally chill. we were talking bout how awesome the movie was, and he was saying that he picked it up for his kid, then he let me go -whew- ..

Got pulled over on 280 by Edgewood coming back from drive about 730pm on Sunday. Chipper was cool about everything. He said I was going about 80 and that was around his limit but then he saw my dark azz tint and pulled me over. I showed him my note and told him a few stories about other cops who pulled me over for it. He told me to just watch the speed and have a nice night.

 

damn you guys are lucky...Socal cops never let you go.

 

Up here, alot of cops are pretty cool.. we do have occasional A-holes and some things to watch out for ..
I.E. in Burlingame, some guy got arrested for spitting on the side walk

some PD's look and just like to mess with import cars *cough FREMONT cough*...

some agencies will go after you just to make quota ..er..umm "stats" as they call them nowadays

I noticed So cal cops are douches.. I think I posted in your so cal forum bout being pulled over by LASO(sheriff's office) walking to my car they accused me of being a drug dealer (mind you, I was wearing a nice shirt, tie, black pants) and was even asking how I bought and afforded my car..did a search through it,found nothing and then they burned out flipping a biotch and light up some black guy walking out of 7-11 trying to light his cig.. I don't know what they're problem is down there

usually the asian cops won't let u off.. 100% i get asian cop i get a ticket ~_~ both times I was let off by were whites..

 

SSF Chinese cop pulled me over for speeding. TOld me he had to do 100+ tp catch up to me which was BS. HE told me my car was fast and to be careful. He let me go. I have had some younger cops be complete a$$holes to me. Guess they wanted to act tough. Everytime I act cool and 99% of time I get off with warning.

 

gheyness, I hate it when cops do that crap bout "I had to do XYZ MPH to catch up!" that's cool you were let go.
I always act professional w/cops, 70% of the time I'm free, the other 30% are douches with a hard on to meet quota.

 

Hey Sean, did airport security hassle you this time for trying to smuggle car parts or airline hit you with more fees?

 

No, since I split it into 2 packages, I didn't go over the weight limit. I did however find an inspection notice in the bax when I got home. They had unwrapped the throttle bodies. I guess they realized that Nissan doesn't make bombs so they let it through.

 

That's good! glad they didn't ding you for weight or hassle you bout your bomb making materials
That's why I drive down to So Cal! only people to watch out are cops
got here in less then 4 hours,almost as good as flying
