Bay Area detailer recommendation?
Can someone please recommend a Bay Area detailing guru that does a kick-a$$, complete job?
Last year I brought my car to a highly recommended (per my brother and per Yelp) detailing shop near downtown SF. Spent ~$150 (IIRC) and I was disappointed.
I have a couple spots on the hood where the paint has oxidization because bird droppings were left sitting too long (my bad
) They said they tried, but couldn't it get out. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't fault them though.
However when I got home, I discovered that they didn't buff off the wax/polish on several areas of the car (so of course I had to do finish the job myself). They also left a lot of white overspray on the rubber trim.
I live in Union City, work in Palo Alto, and often go up to SF, so I'm open to bringing my car almost anywhere, but of course mobile detailing would be great. =)
I found a few old detailing threads in this Nor Cal forum, but maybe there'll be some new recommendations...
