So I've been seeing a lot of these independent/car enthusiast detailing guys.

Look here..

http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php...ic=671275&st=0

See how very detailed the work is? Its amazing, I'm in complete awe. Most work I've seen though are from out of state (I'm too broke to ship my car out there). So I was wondering, are there guys like this in the Bay Area? I know there are some detailing shops listed somewhere in this site, but I get better results for some reason with an independent guy.

Post links of his/her work please... Thank you..

Well, I do local detailing service in Southwest Houston. I do very similar work as done on that forum.
There are lots of enthusiasts out there that take car care into their own hands and detail independently.
In almost any city, there will be someone local who does professional detailing... business or hobby. Just search around the net or in your phonebook and you'll find someone who will detail your car.

see?? what did I tell you? Another detailing guy whom I'd like to work on my car BUT lives in Houston. lol..

Yeah looking in the phonebook is probably the last thing I will do. There's just something about a detailer who posts his work in a public forum (especially in a forum that I visit everyday). that I like.

Let me know if you get ahold of someone to do this, I am also in need of a detail for the coming summer months, and even have the entire zaino kit, just lack the time and proper skill to do this!

Grace, I normally would, except there were other folks interested, and I thought his replies would be better served if read by others...
