Front plate ticket

Hey, quick question. Gotta fix it ticket for my front plates in SF a couple weeks ago. Went back to SJ, and met a nice cop that signed it off after a couple minutes of chatting. So technically, i never fixed it. I got the letter in the mail about the ticket. My question is..can i just mail in a check with the signed ticket, or do i have to go to the PD to get it checked again? thanks.

I would get it signed off in person. That way you know it's done and you'll have proof of it.

If you have the physical signed off ticket, drop by the courthouse and show it to them. Pay it and be done. If it gets lost in the mail, you are screwed....
