i know this is short notice, but this saturday may 9, 2009 is a car show that is at YB high school. A friend of mine goes to YB and is one of the people in charge of this event informed me a little more about this show and to me it seems like the SYTFU meet, but the only difference is no Free food and probably not as big as the SYTFU turnout. Otherwise the event is FREE. You can also register your car at show, you just have to show up earlier. here are the details. i know there is that other SideShow car meet going on at the same time at the Mitsubishi Dealership. Here are the details.

what: Yerba buena high school 3rd annual car show.
where: 1855 Lucretia Avenue, San Jose, ca 95122
when: May 9th, 2009 from 12 - 5
why: My marketing class has hosted this event for the past 2 years and this is the 3rd year we are doing this.

There is no entree fee. All you do is fill out a registration form, bring your car and show it. There will be prizes and trophies. If you have kids feel free to bring them. We will have activites for them to do. There will be food that you can purchase and entertainment for everyone.

If you are for sure down to go PLEASE let me know so i can make a list to see how many cars will be there.

Basically this is going to be a chill back event.

This event looks huge. The Evo meet is like a couple minutes from my house too lol

 

we could hit up both shouldnt take to long to walk thru and check out a few cars ,snap few photos all this before the true car show of G's lol (i kid i kid) any one else want to join up possible

 

oo i meant there is as of now about 200 cars registered in the show. but maybe assume a couple dozen of cars to flake out,etc. people all the way from socal are coming up here for this event.

 

ehh man.. wat time u planning to go to the YB show?
this is my plan: roll over to the YB show around 1030amish since im registered and a couple of my friends arent registered and need to get there early to get them registered and prep our cars. Leave around 3pmish and head over to the Evo meet and chill there untill i get bored.

hey where are yous all meeting at? I was planning on going to six flag but seems like everyone is flaking. Might roll with you guys to check out this yb meet. But kinda lazy to prep and wash car though...where is Robs meet at? Evo's only?
