Re: FEW PICS OF OBON FESTIVAL IN JAPANTOWN
BoBs: Damnnnnnn - $4,000.00 for the headlights over rims???
Can we say - I'll take a 36" - 45" plasma screen instead or a downpayment on another G, or a nice vacation?
That's way too much but if someone want's to "SPONSOR" one of our G's...<EH HEM> that might work..!
Too bad I missed the OBON FESTIVAL...I was over at :"thelovemercedestour" @ alameda point
next weekend MITSBUISHI is having an event...
www.mitsubishi.com - sign up - we can have a minimeet...

Re: FEW PICS OF OBON FESTIVAL IN JAPANTOWN
I actually liked the 2005 SLK ROADSTER...SWEET...sounds like our G's almost...but the F'n cup holders are way up high by the dash...Handles great!
The E class was very impressive! YES IMPRESSIVE!
The S-Class...<shaking head> what a dissappoitment..!
Accellerated quickly...slammed hard on the brakes and hella lunged fwd...YUCK! I love my BREMBOS!
I would only get the SLK 2005 but it starts at $45,000.00.
I must say it was better than last year...The track was longer and there was more room to speed and do hard turns but the wait in line was list 20 - 45 minutes per car...but well worth it!
Now for MISUBISHI's turn...
IT WAS FUN...it pumped me up after it was over...I raced my G back to San Leandro then to SF...
BoBs =)

I'll definitely let you know when I'm in the Sac area..........we just purchased a property over in Elk Grove, so we're going to be there almost every weekend.
Bobs - I'll sponsor my own headlights, hehe. Hmmm.....nah, way too much work.

If anyone else is interested in joining Team Transport (north) let me know. James could use some company at Bay Area events...
