going to sac town for paint? haha there are lots of good places in san jose.

I go to city body in san jose. I have been using them for 9 years and they stand behind their work 100% no questions asked.

they repainted/repaired or fixed my friend's RX-7, land rover, passat, and most of my aftermarket stuff from various accidents or just want stuff painted.

I use that shop to paint anything car related. They work on mostly land rovers and jaguars and they do quality work.. speak with emiliano for a quote

btw: did you **** anybody off on the road, or steal someone's parking space?

well no one mentioned a closer place sooner... otherwise I would have checked it out.

And I did not **** anyone off, I was 45 minutes away from home and no one knew where me or my car were, and there were like 5 open spots on each side of me...

Thumbs up

I'm sure there are plenty of places closer that could do the work, but there's nothing wrong with driving some distance to receive quality work. I have been going just as far in the opposite direction to have my car serviced at Beshoff Infiniti and I have no regrets about travelling to support a business that offers great service.

I've had work done at TnT and have no problem recommending them to others, I'm sure Tony will take great care of you and your car.

Insurance will cover the cost of the repairs, and what it would cost to take it back to prior damage condition... so say they determine the repairs are 2800$ then you would have to come up with the rest to fund the color change and repairs. I used to charge approx $5k for a color change, this included any minor dents / dings, all jams, and motor bay.

So in that case you would have to come out of pocket for the other money...

Why not International Autobody??? Didn't Boris (Vodkarocket) have his M3 done their? And I believe they worked on a lot of Gs there also correct? I also need some paint work done soon and had planned on making a trip out that way.

^ That's true and I've had some work done there as well, but I've heard some rumors that it might be better to avoid them for the time being.

These guys are not close to SJ but they do great work, might be worth the drive.

They are painting my new Stillen front end and come recommended by Z Car Garage.
Sad to see that stuff happen, especially at such a posh place like Seascape.
Good luck.

B-Line Auto Body has repeatedly done outstanding work on many Gs that I have sent there. They specialize in BWMs and are the repair facility for Stevens Creek BMW, but they do a great job with our Gs.

And best of all the customer service is second to none, they will make sure the car is repaired right to your satisfaction - no arguing!

Damn, Stephan, I'm sorry to see this happen to you & your G. It's a gawd damn shame how others don't respect other people's property. Best of luck to you getting this all repaired. What custom color are you considering?

Oh, and +1 for either Grand Collision or William's Autobody. Both places do nothing but the highest quality of work.
