Anyone have a porter cable to get rid of "ghosting effect"

Hey,

I debadged my trunk a few months ago but it still seems to have the "ghosting affect" of the letters. I've read about polishing the paint so it blends in. Question is, can anyone with a porter cable help me get rid of it?

Thanks,
AJ

It's an 03. So i'm guessing the ghosting effect on my trunk is permanent as well?

I have no experience with wet sanding a car, so i'd have to find someone that's pretty comfortable doing it.

But, I'll probably give it a shot as my last resort =)
