got my registration in the mail and it's my first time to get a smog done since i got the car. wheres a good spot to get smog done around the hayward, union city, fremont area.. or anywhere around the east bay?

 

i guess no one got their smog done in the east bay? lol i'll just check out some random shop then.

 

dude take it to beshoff they have it in there service dept. When I'm ready to get mine done that is where I'm going

 

For basic stuff like that, I look up on Yahoo and read local reviews for my local area. Most are fine and all must follow same test procedure laws anyway. Then it boils down to price who I choose.

 

Yeah, I'm in Hayward, and there's a ton of smog places in our area. It really doesn't matter since all they do is test anyway. Comes down to price....like ^ said.

Boss Trucks in San Ramon is my personal favorite. Test only station. Owner is very old school and very committed to getting you passed.

$90 last time I checked. A little high but it sure beats the immigrant coupon shops that have no problem failing you so you can pay for another test.
