The TSB is for 2005-2006. If you are out of your warranty window and have an 2005-2006 then you are not cover. I would recommend taking it to your dealer if you are just barely out of the warranty window, they might work with you. They don't have to, but you might just get lucky.

i wonder if they have to open up the seat (as shown in the TSB) to perform the airbag recall. If so, maybe they can take care of this at the same time and save some labor costs.

No worries . . . Pleased to help. Hopefully, the dealer will cut you some slack. Good luck!

For the rest of you members, here is a link for the TSBs, which are available.

The dealership told me that infiniti deny the request. I was so upset, since they had my car for a week for fuel problem when I was under warranty last month. According to them the customer is suppose to keep track of all TSB while the car is under warranty. Oh well, I was planning on buying another infiniti(this time a sedan) next week, but I think I will get an acura TL instead.

had mine replaced last week and the dealer even replaced all the crushed padding under the seat cover. service rep said it would'nt have fit properly if they didn't change the padding at the same time. I had to leave it for an extra day because they originally didn't order the padding. but it was well worth it .
the seat looks brand new.
the only drawback is that now it doesn't fit my butt as well as before.
I'll have fun breakin' it in tho .

they changed both my seat bottoms, driver and passenger, leather and foam...the only problem for the moment was that the seat back didnt match the bottoms anymore! it was free tho so no complaints here!
