Want to be a Barista. part time any help in Sacramento? *

Hey NorCal G’s…. This may be a strange request but I’m looking for a part time job as a Barista.* Early mornings, before 8am or evenings… after 6pm M-F, and anytime during the weekends in the Sacramento Area.* I currently work for a global broadcasting antenna manufacturer in sales.* I’ve never worked for a coffee shop but I have experience with espresso/coffee at home.* I use a single head espresso machine, and just purchased a Mazzer Super Jolly.* I know enough to start working and am VERY enthusiastic to learn even more.* I am very professional with great customer service skills.* I love espresso, I drink quite a few naked shots every morning.* Does anyone know of anywhere that is hiring, or does anyone work for a coffee shop that can assist?* I prefer to work for a shop that pulls shots semi-manually, using a tamper and what not, but will definitely work for any others.* If anyone works for Starbucks, and/or Pete’s that would be awesome…* If anyone can help please text/call me 916.529.1948 and I can send a Resume and/or fill out an application.
*
Thanks All...
*
Trent

Good luck with your search. I was a barista at Starbucks from 01-04 during college. Fun job!

^ +1 I use to work for Starbucks and Seattle's Best. I hated both of those jobs. If you want to work at the Seattle's Best at Borders in Elk Grove you can put me down as a refferal, David Huang. I have a pretty good rep. there.

There's Starbucks everywhere. They're always hiring/firing/ppl quiting.

Cold calls and/or do walk-ins and inquire.

How hard could it be to find a barista position?

Coffee shops are everywhere! I worked at Seattle's Best a couple years ago. I'm thinking of maybe going back for a part time job.

It's hard to find the available jobs.. I've found those it's the jobs that'll hire me part time around scheudle.. They have become pickier because of the holidays. For the offer in elk grove may be to far forme but I nay move out that way soon. Thanks to all on you advise. I'm going to start cold calling and see where that get me. But if anyone knows anything let me know.

Thanks norcal!
