I'm picking up a 05 OB 6MT coupe, but it has 60k on it. After researching, the 60k maintenance is a big one. How many of you guys service your own cars, or is there a local board member who would be able to provide assistance?

Thanks for the info nazc0. I live near Twin Peaks. The car is clean but the price isn't attractive at all. He is asking for $17,500, and we're at $17,200. I hope to take it for $17,000 tomorrow. I know I might have to dish out a lot for a 60k service, so do you think I should present this to the seller for negotiation?

 

well my 90k service is about 700 but thats for almost everything replaced since the last owner of my car didnt provide the service history so i dont know what to do so im doing everything
talk with Eugene about what the car might need at 60k and talk with the dealer about the service history
call Eugene at 415-830-4008 tomorrow and talk with him as he knows everything
