How long before I get a ticket for clear corners?

Hey guys, I've been driving my sedan around with clear corners without issue for over a year using the factory bulb which emits a light yellow light. Today I installed a set of LED's in the clear corners that emit a white/blueish light, very similar to a set of 8000k HID's. As I was looking around the car tonight I couldn't help but think I might get some crap for it. I figured I'll drive around and if I get stopped I'll put the factory bulbs back in.

how long..?? 2 days 3 hours 25minutes and 37 seconds.. 38,39,40...

depending how modded your car is.. i feel the more your car is modded, the quicker u are to get pulled over.. if all you have is clear corners.. u should b good.. i think wheels make the cops heads turn the most..!

I've got tint but have been pretty good about dropping my windows anytime I see police coming from any direction. I'm replaced the factory HID bulbs with a 8000k pair and installed a 8000k H4 kit on the fogs as well but for all they know it could be factory.

8000k isn't actually brighter than the factory 4300k, if anything its a bit less bright but much more vivid in color (fairly white with a slight hint of blue). The factory fogs are halogen and look down right nasty compared to the factory HID setup so the 8000k top and bottom gives a nice even look. HID fogs make up for any loss of light output from the low beams and shine the road pretty damn well.

HID fogs are known to blind traffic.. careful with those. 8000k have really awful light output compared to 4200-5000k but I guess its not a big deal if you don't drive at night much

Don't worry about cop trouble. I doubt they even notice it, especially if you drive a lot during the day. As everyone else said, its the more noticeable mods that will cause trouble. I've been running LEDs in clear corners for quite a while now. Recently moved onto these courtesy of YT35. Good guy btw. During the day, these are tolerable, but at night....

These are ridiculous, it is seriously much brighter in person. At night, it is just over the top. Any car to my side is completely lit up (the garage wall seems bright, but when actually driving at night, I can see drivers squinting and turning at the clear corner going "What the hell!??!". I am screwed if that person next to me is a cop.

However, I'm currently making another pair.

They do. =P.

LEDs are LEDs. Don't worry about getting pulled over for it. Also, as long as you have the factory bulbs, you can just replace them there on the spot if you do get pulled over. I don't think they enforce the clear corner law much here in Daly City though. Just enjoy them. =D

I feel you on the LEDs. I modded mine with some LEDs I got from Elayman. Got 30 LEDs in each side market and they are bright as **** at night. Many people turn and look when I pass them at night since they getting a blast of light in their side windows. I have not been questions about them yet so I guess it all depends on the cop.
