Window motor broken Where can i get this fixed?

Hey. I have an 03 coupe and my drivers side window doesn't work anymore. My dad and I tried to open up the side. but found there was a silver metal plate blocking it to get to the motor. We figured that it was just a wire being pinched. Is it because of that or do I really need to replace the motor? I heard a lot of coupes have this problem. Also it works if i help pull down the window and pull the window up (I know its bad to do that but when you go through a garage you gotta do that). So help please.

That plate is held on by screws and an adhesive backing. All you need to do is make sure you have all the screws out , you can go ahead and remove all of them just to be sure. Some of the screws hold the motor down, but you can just reattach them once you have the plate off.

Anyways, once you have removed all of the screws, you should be able to peel back the metal plate. Once again, removal of all screws isn't necessary, but would guarantee that you aren't missing something by chance that would cause damage during plate removal.
