I have a two year old Blue Nose Pit that is 53 pounds and she rides with me on the passenger seat with her doggie seat belt that goes around her chest hooked onto the actual seat belt! She loves the window and what I usually do is keep the windows half way open so her paws doesn't scratch the door paint.
