Navi installation? North Cal?

I have a navigation/DVD system that needs to be installed on my G...

It is a JVC NX7000BT..I have all in hand (Rear view camera, navi unit, steering wheel controller, HD Radio module, IPOD cable, JDM dash kit, etc)

I went to Audio Sound Specialist in Union City...I have taken my car there for some other jobs on my cars..They do a great job.. They quoted me $600.00 labor for installing my navi system...Is that fair?

Sound Innovations quoted me $800.00 -- Out of the question...

Any other place that you guys recommend (Clean job place) for this? I want to get a clean job and good price....I take any recommendations..

i put a similar one in my dads car, not that difficult. just look online how to bypass the e-brake switch, so you can watch movies while your driving. what part of norcal are you at?

The price you got quoted from Sound Innovations may seem high but the components that you listed seems like it's a lot of work. Also you'll definately be satisfied with their install since they're known for doing stealth and clean installs. There may be places out there that may charge cheaper but the outcome maybe horrible.

Another reason for the prices is you didn't purchase the stuff from them.
You'd be better off purchasing from a good local shop and having them install it.

Those prices are high. If you dont mind driving to him, give this guy a call or email. He installed my full system (DD deck, components, coaxials, amps, subs, etc) for $500. He works for East Bay Auto Spa in Walnut Creek but does work on the side out of his place. I believe he also drives to you and is mobile in some instances. His work is very clean and professional.
