Long story short some A-hole shattered one of the rear quarter windows on my daily driver and I need to get all the tint redone. I know that there have been a few threads about places to get tint installed on our G's and such but I am looking for a suggestion on a place to have tint removed and replaced on my daily driver. I am more worried about The defroster lines on the rear windshield and making sure which ever shop I go to is competent enough not to damage the defroster lines when removing the old tint. Of course I am hoping to be pointed in the direction of a shop that can do this work for me at a reasonable price as well. TIA for any suggestions.

I went here and the price was very good. The place looks like a dive but they do good work.

 

had my place done at Mr tint, also some chevron's actually have a tint place, I think I heard less than 300, without windshield tint..

 

I would recommend the following two places...

-Omega Tint Werks in Pleasanton- Talk to Vince
-Mach III in San Francisco - Talk to Kris

 

*1 for Vince. He did my clearbra and I can vouch for the attention to detail he has.

 

Was going to say kris as well, does a lot of work on our cars and is very close to you.

 

Mr Tint in Santa Clara also did my car too as well as installing my overlays. They gave a reallygood price for 5 windows on my car.

 

+1 for MachIII. Johnson did my window tint some 4 years ago and it still looks great.

 

+1 for Johnson. He does great work. My clear bra came out flawless.

 

Best Image in San Mateo does great work and backed by a lifetime warranty. talk em down. I paid $120, just call and ask for $120 b/c your friend had his done for that much (I have a coupe though so if you have a sedan ask for $140).

 

i did mine at best image on my last car it turned purple hahahah but that was some years ago.
