Favorite places to eat in the Bay Area.
Its actually not Japanese tapas but Izakaya style if your more familiar with that. Pretty much they are just small plates of food. Check out both restaurants on yelp if you're interested. Neither serves too much sushi but Gochi has some amazing bluefin tuna. If you into traditional Japanese food I would highly recommend trying them out.
Places by work that I frequent often..
Muracci's 2 in Los Altos for Japanese curry
Rincon Sabroso in Mountain View for cheap Mexican
Ginseng in Mountain View for Korean
Spot in Los Altos for pizza
I also love Colombo's in Pacifica for their sandwiches.. their Dutch crunch is heavenly.

^^ Great list! If it's not too much trouble, may I ask you to please add cuisine/type descriptors? Thanks
Edit: Win - thanks for doing that Ricky!

HELL YEAH!!! i love going there for the best buffalo steaks ^^; used to go there every week
Anyhow, in the Bay Area, here are my picks:
- All you can eat Korean BBQ on El Camino Reel (Forgot name and exact location)
- Bay Shabu Sushi Sake on West Portal (Known for the Killer Whale Sushi Challenge) [SF]
- Banwich on taravel st & 20th I believe. Great, quick vietnamese sandwiches [SF]
- The Sandwich Shop on Mariposa and 19th, its owned by my mom but i swear to god the sammies are hella good. I even met a g35driver member there and sold+installed an intake for him ^^ How can you say no to a GIGANTIC Sandwich with fresh meat and produce for only $5.50? Majority of people can barely eat a whole sandwich [SF]
- My Tofu House; korean bbq/tofu stew restaurant on Geary & 11th (i think) [SF]
