switched out stock tranny fluid to amsoil and can't feel it

I actually noticed a change for the worse. In the cases where I have swapped to the Amsoil MTG fluid, the shifting had become more difficult; specifically, it started taking more time for the shifter to synchronize into the various shift gates. After switching to the less viscous OEM fluid at 75w85, I immediately noticed "easier" shifts.

Redline improves shifting like Amsoil does from what I've read for years too

I had the more viscous fluid (amsoil/redline) in since new, put about 80k on the tranny with it, replacing the fluid every 30k. Then the dealer offered to replace the tranny in an effort to resolve some drivetrain noise. They replaced the tranny, but the noise remained. I drove on the new tranny for about 3k, then put the amsoil in there and the difference in shift feel was so severe that I went into panic mode and within a week I had the original OEM fluid back in which instantly improved the shift feel. I think the only way to really tell is to do a side by side comparison on the same car..? Or perhaps the new transmission is more sensitive to the transmission fluid viscosity?
