Hi All,
We are planning on going to the Autocross at Marina Airfield on August 1st.

Here is some information:

The cost is $35 per person. Its about an hour drive from the bay area. Registration opens at 7:30 am and the first run starts at 9am. Suggest to get there no later than 8:00 am. They will have orientation for all drivers, such as: track walk through, safety and what will be asked of you when you are out in the field. If anyone has been to this, when you run, you must work. Work as in, out in the field picking up cones if knocked down. You may buy a membership but not necessary to run.

Items to bring:
Sunscreen
Bring folding chair
I will be bringing my video camera to tape all the runs.

If anyone is interested, we can do a caravan to Marina. If there is enough interest, I can find a place to meet.

I'll be there as usual. No idea where I'm coming from yet so a caravan might not work for me.

I will be there! Last event was my first one and I loved it.

However, I will not be joining the caravan as I live in the area.

Changes every event.

I saw some of you other G guys (besides Anthony / ntrinsik) last month. Very cool that you guys are going to make it a regular thing!

"We" will be headed out on the first as well, and I'm working the event to coordinate with ZoNC.org (Zs of NorCal). The plan is to meet at Z Car Garage in San Jose at 6:30am so we can arrive at Marina by 7:30am. Stay tuned at www.zonc.org in a day or two.

There will be for this particular autox (see the last page of that thread) since I'm organizing it with ZoNC. Although it's very late notice to get people that aren't active on the boards to be part of it, I hope to at least get a few people to wet their whistles and get them more active with their cars. The prelim plan is to meet at Z Car Garage at 6:30am to depart by 6:40am.
