Requirements Of Opening A Tuner Shop?

Hows it going norcal? I wanted to get some advice on someone who has knowledge in opening up a shop of this type. What is needed as far as licensing with the state boards. Do you need any mechanic license or anything else? Thanks in advance.

Im assuming, a huge connect with vendors... mechanical experience, a licence, pay taxes, and have some good insurance.

i dont think shops spring up out of no where. it must be allot of prep work involved.
