Ditto! Besides having someone install my polished timing cover i wanna do a wire tuck too. lol

 

Good luck with the timing cove install Ray. I was going to pick one of those up a while ago for a good price but then I heard how long it would take to install. Its is in no way an easy job. You basically need to take the whole front of car apart. If anyone can install for under $300 then they are a good friend.

 

I could go with the wire tuck also, my lazyness has hit an all time high

 

The wire tuck takes some time too. It all depends on what you want. A full tuck can take about 2 days.

 

If I had the time I would just be too lazy to get in the garage, too cold in there right now

 

Thanks Troy. I knew the timing cover was hard to put on but i sure wish i did my research before purchasing this piece. I called the shop that usually works on my car and they were charging 3+ to install this piece. I guess i'm going to have to go through with them on this afterall.

 

Thats all they told you.... I promise you the + actually means like 6 hours. You looking at $500-$600 to get this installed

Most of the guys on here say you can get it looking good with just a hand polish. Worth a try.

 

Got my 06 projectors yesterday. May paint mine today.
And thinking of removing plenum and timing cover to get done. Straight up g35 day Haha.

Mine got some build up in the corner of one. I'm getting a new set done up for wekfest. Gonna Have some dual angels, dual rgb demon eyes, modded amber turns and some other goodies.

 

dual rgb demon eyes? what are those

 

Lights put in behind the projector. I am also swapping the turn signal lens for a tsx -r lens and putting a rgb bulb in there as well. With those I can make them glow many colors, have them pulse etc. My turn signal will no longer be hooked up as I will have 2 amber led strips where the clearance grooves on sides are.
