How similar is this to a G35 headlight? Just remove, cook, break apart, paint? I was also kind of scared to do it, because if I messed up, I would have to drive with no headlights.
It ended up being easier than I thought. Just take your time. The hardest part was probably taking off the front bumper and pulling out the headlights. (Wasn't hard at all, more time consuming if anything).
You could start a thread on a 350z forum about your DIY and just post on it when you get stuck. I took pictures of what I was seeing when I got stuck and posted it up, and got help and was able to continue on.
Just do it on a day where you don't need to drive it for like an entire day or two. So incase you get stuck, you can post up and get help and not have to worry about not having a car to drive.
