first time I ever talked to him over the phone he was talking to me like I was kinda dumb lol, idk maybe thats how hes like over the phone. Look at this way, you own a bigger named shop in the bay area, some random person comes in "hey man do you know where I can get a smog hook" what would you say?

 

i'd want to meet the guy in person. that's pretty much what rob makes people do...come down to meet and discuss your plans, etc. it helps weed out the dreamers, shoppers, and namedroppers.

anyway, again, +1 on stopping by any of the shops listed above in person. otherwise, just find a small shop somewhere and be prepared to bribe, i mean, pay higher testing fees.

 

or you could try going to those "pass or its free" places in ghetto Vallejo or Oakland, they tend to be leaniant, especially if you throw em $80-100 extra.
