Was behind an expedition and noticed my right daytime running light is dead. How does one remove that bulb and replace? Or is this a mechanic/dealer only job? Please help...

From the 03-05 headlights? All you'd need to do is pull out the headlight from the car. Then locate the DRL bulb cover. Twist that off and it will pop out and I believe the bulb is connected to that cover.

The process of removing the headlight requires you to remove your front bumper. It's easy enough on the coupe and I did it plenty of times on my car. (not sure on sedan, but I think it's similar if not the same) Just a couple of bolts, tug on the bumper and pull it forward and down. If your undertray is connected to the car, it shouldn't be a problem to leave the bumper hanging there. Then remove the 3-4 bolts on the headlight itself. Pull it away, and replace the bulb.

Replacement bulbs can be found at V-LEDS (good time to get whatever color you prefer as well) Cheap bulbs. and usually comes within 2-3 days after you place the order.

Same process on the sedan. Remove the front bumper, remove headlight housing, remove bulb, replace bulb, reinstall housing, reinstall bumper.

don't forget to cover your fenders in painters tape to keep the the bumper from digging a few nice gouges into them

It's a 2005 coupe.

I believe those are 168 bulbs. Parking light right? (That light strip looking thing)

Here's a link to V-LEDS bulbs that are 168. That section is also shared with 194 bulbs and 158. All three I believe are interchangeable.

And if you happen to be talking about the turn signal bulb. Those are 7440 bulbs and you can probably easily find them at the local auto store.

It's the round orange blinker bulb. The light strip is still ok. The lightstrip actually went out last December. It's funny how everything on the right side keeps coming out. O wonder if there's something with the wires, surges. I'm no electrician. The left side nothing ever goes bad.

It's probably the 7440 bulb you're looking for then. The process is the same. Take off bumper, take off headlight. Unscrew cap, change bulb. Reverse the order.

If you happen to get the wrong bulb. Just take the burnt out bulb to the store, and they will help you with the proper replacement.

I'm guessing there's 2 bulbs in the orange turn/daytime light housing? This morning I turned on my driving lights, when I made a turn, the bulb blinked normal. But after I blinked it went back to nothing.

Ummm. I don't think so. I think it just lights up a secondary filament in the bulb that makes it brighter. So it's just one bulb.

Ok. I thought the entire bulb had burnt out. So when I signaled right turn, it actually blinked. After I made the turn, I turned off blinker and noticed the left daytime light was still on but the right daytime driving light went back to "dead" unlit.

You don't need to remove the bumper or headlight to change that (or any) bulb out. You can access the bulbs from the fender well cover, behind the headlight. Just pitch the tire all the way in to give you the most clearance. Remove the push pins and peel the cover back toward you

The bulb you are looking for is a 7443 (dual filament).

Yeah, that's true. You don't really need to remove the front bumper. But last time I tried just doing it behind the fender liner. I couldn't do it. Either my arm was "hella" fat or you have to have it at such an awkward position lol.

I think you just got too lazy to reach jk lol

I does help more if you can jack the car up a little on the one side.
