I'm down for mini-meets or big meets. It's just that my schedule usually does not permit. I'm not a 9-5'er like most everyone else. I wanted to go to the last meet at the Frutazia in Fremont but I went to the International Auto Show in The City that night. That Frutazia is literally two blocks from my house. Anyway, let me know what day and time and I'll try to be there.

 

im not sure about going to that show acutally. haha. off list please. but i'll try to make it to that meet. i 4get what i had planned instead of the jdmtheory meet. =\

 

auto_drive just remove yourself from the list.
it's not necessary to confirm now..but if you show up at the show..you'll have fun.

haha, the list doesn't really work anymore, it's too early to tell if people have time to go. I think people are more interest in just G35 driver gathering have lunch and drive around the city.

 

if my team isn't going to go I'll be down to show with you guys....

the g35 nor cal group is pretty much dead. sad to say, but it's true. i know everybody has their time issues and everything, but making it out to the meets is part of what makes the group a group. i've been in both the 350 group and this g35 group and there is NO COMPARISON. they are obviously more devoted and have lots more fun. they not only see each other at the meets, but they meet for poker and even caravan to events just like the JGTC.

if you guys are really serious about having a group, i'm sure me and bobby and some others are willing to put in the effort to set up some events. it's gonna take us time and your guys' commitment.

either way, let's have a meet some time the beginning of the year. at least the people who are sorta interested in doing something for this upcoming year. it's not an official meet, but just the people who really want to have get togethers. hopefully we'll be as tightly knit as the 350 guys. i've hung out with them on numerous occassions and it's been a blast. if we don't have our own club, then i'd suggest that the few that are serious should just join the 350 crowd.

again, i'm not hating on the g35 crowd, but the attendance for the last couple meets has not even been worth mentioning.

I am IN for any G35 meeting!!!!! I am sure alot of other G35 drivers want to have a gathering too.

 

wow...when i read posts like these it gets me excited to put together a meet and meet all these cool people who sign up.

but then WHAP!!! Reality hits me upside the head and I realize that forums offer people anonymity (?) and they talk a lot of talk. it happens on all forums.

in either case...as Bob's cut and paste says , there's a meet in Japantown on Jan 23rd.

10-3 pm. You DO NOT have to show, but if you want, please pre-reg. The $10 basically buys you a t-shirt. please NOTE...you WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING as this show is inside a parking garage.

before you consider showing, know that you'll be paying 7 hours of parking (8:00-3:00).

stock or fully modded really doesn't matter. it's about being a car enthusiasts and hanging out with others who love their cars just as much as you do. if you just plan to attend, be sure to stop by and say hi.

I work a W-Sat schedule and most of the previous meets happened on Saturday. I took vacation days. It's not like we have a meet every week. Once every couple of months means ya'll should make some time.

have you guys checked out team transport?
they have a toys for tots event...something i wanted to do for nor cal.
they have over 110+ g's and other imports coming out.

vinh, dyenboy, and myself have "caravanned" to LA for their meets!
we drove all the way to lala land.

i even took my cpe to LAS VEGAS from SF...that's how crazy I am...!

please guys let's have a good showing at the Japantown Meet.
We can even get together to see how we want to set up.
