Id say Tein for most affordable but if you just want an inch go with springs and save your money. Usually everyone that says "i only want an inch" ends up saying down the road "i kinda want to go lower" lol

^if your shocks are blown...s-techs will stiffen things up a tad bit but not much. The best price you can find on coilovers would be around 550-600 springs are anywhere from 75-150

BC coils! Drop it whatever height you want and you can adjust the dampening. I had rein basics and the BC coils blow them out of the water IMO. And they are about the sme price.

My vote goes to BC coils. Picked up a set for my sedan from a vendor here on Driver for $850 shipped. Not much more you can ask for with its 30+ levels of dampening and such. Nicely constructed as well. I've played with the dampening, and ride quality can range from rock hard to stock plush....thumbs up from me =)
