G35 Clutch Replacement In Progress

Hey guys just thought I would share my approach to doing transmission removal and clutch replacement on the G. I just started tonight and a friend of mine was around so he took some photos:

I'll try to take some video during important steps but no promises The nice part about all this is that anybody can do this at home with some patience and the right tools.

Eugene did a great job. 8) Drove the car around for a week and no problems whatsoever! He was very knowledgeable and helped me out with numerous things like fix and replace bolts and nuts here and there. Took the time to walk me through everything. Very impressed and unbeatable for the price!

regarding the video clips, I do have some but they are very fragmented. I think I will wait until the next clutch replacement to take some more careful video.

think 4 x 12 x 15 ft logs (yes, headboard wood) and a circular saw - I had to drive with red flags attached to the ends of the logs because they stuck out so far from my truck.

Both the clutch and flywheel were replaced. I would estimate about 8 hours of labor.
