Since GFUNK808 (Nick) sold his G and bought a new house (congrats by the way), he has departed our club and did a great job for 2004 planning meets, events, and contests.

The time has come to re-name (GOLDEN GATE G35).

As some of you may recall, there was a debate about the club name and felt it should be changed to include all of Nor Cal. Here's your chance to contribute to the club.

After lunch has been ordered and while we're waiting for our drinks and yummie food - GYAL8R (bobby - cali event organizer) and DYENBOY (don - special ops) - will be collecting the form titled "new club name contest" - You will get this form when you roll in and sign a waiver about the mall rules.
Filling out the form gives you the "CHANCE" to win a free prize (to be determined). It doesn't mean you will automatically win...LOL just to clarify!

How the winner will be determined (only 1 prize):
When Bobby or Don goes "CONTEST TIME" everyone will turn in our direction.
We will read each name contributed and the person who contributed will stand up. When we read the name out for example "golden_gate g35" - you the members will respond by clapping.
The club name with the most claps determined by myself and don will determine the winner.
The club name can include something like g35skylinenorcal or something to that extent.

Okay get cracking guys...only "3" days left that's "72hours" left before the contest and the fun of our 2005 events begin...!!!

fine by me...let's start a new contest for the design...similar to that of NOR * CAL that I see everywhere..

Don, can you put a sticky for the next event at SERRAMONTE INFINIT and announce they are going to be sponsoring our club for 2005 per authorzation of Manny Martinez (general manager).

Call me up if you have time this week we'll go over the details for promotional ideals aobut our new club and sponsorship...
