Hit by a car, anyone know a good shop in SF for body work?
I need to get my car fixed, I was driving to school tonight because we had to attend a concert and write a concert report, and as I was making a left turn onto the campus, I was hit by a lady in her '98 Civic who sped through a red light. It was dark and raining, and the lady claimed that her brakes didn't work. Anyway, we exchange information and she left. Then after she left, as this is my first time ever being an accident, I realized that I didn't call the police to write a report.
Also, I see that she has some obscure insurance company (Commerce West). Sigh... I really hope I don't get screwed over.
Right now, I have a pretty bad dent on my passenger rear quarter panel and the side skirt. I do have full coverage with Allstate, so I can always resort to going through my insurance company.
So can anyone recommend a good body shop in the San Francisco area to have the damages fixed? Insurance companies let you choose where you have your car fixed right?

I wouldn't worry too much about not filing a police report. I have never filed a police report for any auto accident I have been involved in (none were my fault). I only filed a police report when I was hit by a car.
What I would do, if you haven't done so already, is contact your insurance company to report the claim and give them all the facts asap. They will more than likely contact the other insurance company on your behalf. The last thing you want is for the lady to contact them and tell them a completely different story making it seem like you are the one at fault.
As for body shops, I recently had work done one of my other vehicles by ISM (International Sport Motors) on 9th and Harrison. They did a great job repairing and repainting a rear bumper and trunk. I dealt with Adam. Your insurance company will allow you to go with and body shop you would like, however, if it is not one of their recommended body shops, they will not offer you a warranty on the work.

Best one I've ever been to by far is Euro Autobody in South San Francisco (1334 Lowrie Avenue). My car's there right now after it got rear-ended recently
Edit: And this shop's treated friends and family well too, always top-notch work.
