Question mod friendly dealers?

sup yall

i'm a new member so just wanted to say hi. bought an 05 g35x 2 months back and that ish murders the snow when i drive up to tahoe. couldn't be happier

before i put in the z-tube and pop charger i ordered, just wanted to check if anyone knew if the dealers up here are mod friendly. i bought my car from serramonte, but peninsula is closer to me and i don't want the hassle of swapping parts when i take the car in for service

o shoot...i have aftermarket clear corners...do i need to watch out for those too?

Peninsula didn't care about my intake, the service manager there is nice... but they fscked up an *oil change* for me once. I brought mobil 1 with me, told them to put that in, and they didn't! They fixed the mistake when I opened up my trunk and pointed to my full case of oil sitting there. That was my first, and only time using them for service.

But I never go to the dealer anymore for service. There's a shop in palo alto called the "Honda small car shop" that just specializes in japanese cars, they do lots of q45's, maximas, i30's, j30's and g35's.

111 Homer ave.
Palo Alto, CA

Near the whole foods.

strongly recommended

Question Serramonte Feedback

When I purchased my G35C back in Oct., I was told by one of the guys at Serramonte that the only "Mod" I could do that wouldnt void my warranty was an Intake.

It may also just be a YMMV, but I wouldnt put my faith in a warranty after doing engine Mods. They are good at spotting engine work/mod related damage even if you take your parts off.

Sort of the old, "Play at your own risk" analogy..
