Tire place recommendations? and Wheel repair?

I need to replace either my tires for the stock 17" wheels and/or my 18"(245/40-18F & 265/4018R) on my RPF1 Type RC. I am looking for inexpensive tires as I plan on selling the car in two years.

I also need a recommendation on wheel repair. My right rear wheel has rust embedded on it due to the rubbing from the brake backing plate and brake rotor. I no bends or rash....just refinishing due to surface rust from the dust.

THanks in advance

Check the sticky at the top of this NorCal page for mechanic recommendations. PM a few NorCal members for the best wheel repair shops in your area. Are you aware that www.thetirerack.com sells tires at wholesale? All you need to do is pay shipping and install, no taxes are charged. Good Luck!

I buy at Tirerack and have it shipped to RiteWay wheels in Walnut Creek.
You may want to call ahead or visit before you do.

i found better deal at America's tire than any other place. Tirerack after shipping and mounting was expensive. talk to a local america's tire shop and see what they can give a good deal on. they will easily take of $50-$100 for set of 4.
