Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this will help but I'm throwing it out there in as many places as I can. A good friend had his custom Bob Jackson bicycle stolen right out of his garage last night in San Jose. (His fault for leaving the garage door open, but still..)

He lives in a townhouse community close to 880 and Brokaw Road just to give you a general idea of the area, but the bike could be anywhere by now. It was very expensive, and customized to order. Here's a picture, please keep an eye out, thanks guys!

That happens all the time out here. Bums steal bikes and ride them around trying to sell them for a fraction of its worth. I've seen bums rolling around on thousand dollar bikes trying to pawn them off for a hundred or so bucks. I bet this bike is rattle can painted and on the streets by now.

Good luck though, I hope your buddy recovers it in good shape.

Sorry to hear that OP, but what dofu said is correct. I imagine he probably wouldn't want to find the bike at this point. Hopefully he had insurance on it if it was that expensive

If it's not recovered, homeowners insurance should take care of him.

I actually didn't think about that. Good suggestions, thanks man. I'll mention it to him!
