M35/45 Teaser from Niello
Nope, I dont have any pictures. =(
Niello Concord did a sweet job with their M35/45 debut. They had two M series. A Liquid Platinum 45 in the showroom and a Black Obsidian 35 for test drives. Niello had the whole shebang, good hors d'oeuvres (sp) meatballs, skewers, drinks, and a harp player.
The M45 look stunning. It took cues from all of the Infiniti lines and put together to what looks like a 5 series beater. The interior was much a step up from the coupe. No cheesy plastic parts.
The best part I thought was the technological gismos: lane change assistance steering, headlights that move, the BOSE 5.1 14 speaker surround puts the G to shame, the navigation is voice activated, maps look nice, abrupt lane change notification, and more. The coolest feature I thought was the push button start! No key, press the brake and push the button!
The even let customers test drive the M3 in which I was #7 on the list. Although I did only drive the M35 (the V6), the car drove extremely well. Much bigger than the G, the car felt pretty nimble. The exhaust was subdued and the interior ride was quiet, a good car to drive to Yosemite in. I somewhat floored it in the rain and it did pull, but I am sure the M45 is much better in terms of acceleration.
The downside of course, is the price. The M35 starts at ~$40k and the M45 in the showroom was about ~$50k.
I had to share my thought! Have fun at the meet tomorrow!
