Will headers pass visual inspection?

Will headers pass visual inspection?
Sorry if this has been asked and/or answered.
Does anybody know if our cars will pass visual inspection with aftermarket headers installed? I'd hate to have to pay for un-install just for smog.
Well since I asked, what about high flow cats like Crawford's?
Thanks,
Anthony

Thanks for your reply 1Gig.
From past experience, the tech usually peek under the car to check for the existance of a catalytic, but never have I been asked about it being CARB certified. What I am most concerned with is how visable the headers will be, since I havvn't taken a good look in my engine compartment.
When I had my WRX the uppipe (first cat) was usually replaced, but very hard to seen.

You bet they inspect. When we sold my wifes Civic the Smog guy climded all over it and called Injen to verifiy CARB numbers. This also happened on my suburban. The headers should have a tag welded to them or the CARB number stamped into them. If you are missing anything you fail. You can also get smogged before your 4 years if law enforcement demands you do so-IE ticket for noise or mods. It has happened to some of the 350s that hung around with the owner of this site. be careful
