Always good to see dyno day results.

the 5AT sedans' top end weren't very impressive.

I have a question though. The second coupe listed is said to be a 2005 6mt. The numbers on the table are 239, 240, 229. But the second graph shows numbers of 228, 233. And there are two different names on the second graph. What were the real numbers for the 2005 6mt coupe?

I was looking at the graphs last night on the Winpep viewer and noticed that some of Gernard's runs (2005 coupe 6mt) had a lot of breaks or spikes in them. Maybe the new '05 enginge was giving the dyno a hissy fit. Anyways I think they had to do a total of 5 runs for him. Looks like when Vinh redid the graphs he accidentally got one of George's runs in there and picked one of the throw away runs (out of the 5 total). Vinh, can you redo Gernard's graph so that the 3 .drf files you use match the 3 runs in the table at the top? Thanks.

Also I was doing some comparisons between similarly moded AT's and MT's by overlaying some graphs. The difference in peak numbers did not surprise me at all. What did surprise me was that the MT's consistently were 10-20 points more throughout the entire rpm band. Maybe the AT's do lose more through the drivetrain than we all had orignally thought?

Thanks for fixing the graph. This is the first time I've seen a dyno on the new engine.

If there's any proof that our engines are weak in the top end, here it is. These cars will easily make 25 HP every 500 RPM increments in the low end, but make from 0-5 HP in the last 500 RPM before max HP RPM (in stock or near stock form).

Let's see what results we'll get this weekend in Socal.

Yeah they had to do 5 runs on my car cause something was giving the dyno a hard time with getting a clean run. The printout they gave me was for runs 3,4, and 5. Run 4 only went up to about 5700 RPM for some reason.

Thanks for updating the site Vinh. PM me with an email address so I can send you the pictures of your and Linda's cars that you took on my camera.

I rule 5AT sedans. All bow to my HP!

Yeah, we were dissappointed with the numbers for the 5at sedans last year too. I'm thinking plenum spacer and ECU reflash.
