Great job Vinh. But looks like some of the graphs are messed up for the torque value range even though I'd like to believe my car was making 300+ tq!

Sorry I missed everyone down there Saturday. I drove by with the kids, and saw you guys were nearly being run out by all the Evo's.

I was depressed when I saw 232 on my dyno (I was at Moda 2 days before the rest of you). After seing all of these dyno's, I don't feel so bad in my 5AT anymore.

Eric,

How do you like the Kinetex cats? I am thinking about the Crawfords right now. What helped you decide on the Kinetex?

i like it alot although the current version does not come with braces which actually dampens some of the vibration noise during hard accleration from 3-4k rpm, however with the brace your cats will have more tendances to break due to too much stress on the braces causing the brace to slowly break off from the cat.

What drove me to get the kenetix was basically price and i wanted to try a new company. Though i never tried crawford, and im going to soon. Its just that they always have a freaking waiting list =(

THanks for post the webpage. Question: why does the graphs on the website look different from the paper dyno sheets they gave out on Saturday? The torque curves have all these waves in it and the torque peak numbers are different.

was this on a mustang dyno or a dynojet.... the more dynoes i see the more i start to wonder... i hit 250 last time i dynoed with my mods below, people stock were getting higher numbers than pop chargers.... and a guy with very very similar mods to me on the same day in an auto with headers, y pipe, intake, grounding wires got 230 where i got 250, and another bone stock g wit a z tube got 235.... seems that whatever mods were done only minimal power was gained.... if these numbers were on a mustang dyno than they are all really good tho...

No it was on a dynojet. You gotta remember that you really can't directly compare two dyno days on two different dynos at two different places. Hell, even comparing two different days on the same dyno at the same place isn't even really accurate. Here's some good articles on dynos and such.

The graphs of the torque have spikes because the bottom axis is MPH. Changing that to RPM will get ride of them.

yeah, there will still be a few spikes but nothing crazy like 300+ tq or anything like that when you base the x-axis on speed instead of rpm
