Yeah, they do, but they did the dyno at the crank not at the wheels

check out www.my350z.com, i've been referring to that site solely for all my performance questions. anyway "throbbing_Zon" has these on his car:

I don't know what the duration is but I'll find out, i guess.
I don't know what blanks they are. I do know they were engineered by a man named Al Bertoni and the fellow who did the grind...his name escapes me but he does Bertoni's cams and stuff. Bertoni is a engineer who builds Ferrari race engines for the street and track. He is apparently a top Ferrari engine builder and I mean world renowned. He is local to the San Jose area, actually in Morgan Hill, Ca., I believe. So anyway he basically worked out these cams and I believe they are not like JWT or Nismo or whoever. The approach was decidedly different from those types and what we end up with is a smooth running motor at idle and all thru the rpm range. Of course like I stated the results are fantastic. Bertoni also developed the cams for the Scott Performance APS turbo motors that are doing miracles around here. Ted delivered a 500 bhp APS twin turbo 350z to a customer tonight. The motor is all stock but for cams and it's running water alcohol injection. It is running I think 13 lbs boost. You may have already read about it somewhere around here.
Here are his mods:

SP special grind Cams for N/A
Unichip
SP Load Based Dyno Tuning
Nismo S Tune Headers
Kinetix Resonated Test Pipes
Borla Duel Cat Back
JWT POP Charger
Valvoline VR1

276 rwhp

I believe G352NV also runs these cams on his car. I've been going back on forth between the JWT and the Scott Performance NA cams for a while now. While the SP cams are lesser known and not as proven, they do seem promising.

I went back and forth between Teds cams and JWT but decided to stick with the lesser agressive JWT, my car idles at 380rpm which sounds really low but it never stalls which has surprised me. The only issue I have seen with any after market cams is that if you start the car up on a cold morning like we have now and then decide to stick it in reverse then it will stall, you need to give it gas and let it idle for a minute and then change gear and all will be good.

My 2ct.

urban, try doing the "Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning)" procedure listed here:

http://www.technosquareinc.com/350reset.htm

that should bring your idle back up where it belongs - 650rpm.
