35% Tint Pics (FINALLY)

Taken at 4pm today, so the sun was pretty low, but still high enough to light up the car.....

The windows look really dark this time of day, they're significantly lighter mid day when the sun is higher. Props to Vincent at Omega Tintwerks for a great job!

35% is what i got as well. I've had it for a little over 6 months now and love it.

+1 on Vince (Omega Tintwerks)

I think 35% looks really good on the coupe. Very classy. I do miss my 20% because 35% isn't really that dark, but I would rather not get hassled by cops.

Yes, 35% all around. I also have the clear bra as well (from Omega too).

a 6yr. old could have installed the clear corners....guess I was overqualified!

I would've done 20% back and 50% front.. that way there's a clear difference between the two that you won't get noticed as much whereas 35%all around clearly shows that your front windows are tinted

I agree, but it sure does look nice 35% all the way around.

I did 35% all around also. It's not so dark to call the attention of the local police.

I'm not really all that worried about getting fix-it tickets from the Po-Pos. All of my other cars also have tinted windows and I've only gotten 1 ticket in the past 3 years...the Chippie wouldn't have pulled me over if I wasn't going 80 in a 65. Only after being stopped for speeding did he notice the tint...then he added it to the ticket.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

i put up some pics with 35% up front/20% in the back in a different thread. you can check it out here: review + pics.

thanks for posting seanl. is it just me or do you feel like the tint looks vastly different under different lighting situations? in the evening, when there's a bit of ambient light but not much reflecting off the car, the car doesn't seem too dark, but in direct sunlight or when it's dark outside, it's pretty dark.

Yes, the tint looks very dark in low light or at night, but not so dark in from certain angles.

Overall I'm happy with the tint, was worried that 35% wouldn't be dark enough, but it is.

Nice tint man, im thinking of getting the same tint percent. What file did you use? Does it affect your radio or navigation? Do you have any pictures of it during the middle of the day when the sun is out? Also isnt Omega Tintwerksin pleasonton? How long of a drive from sunnyvale and how long does it take to get windows tinted?
