Alright guys, who's interested in a meet in January? I'm sure lots of you got some goodies over the holidays and want to install them as a group or show them off. I'd like to meet all of you since I've been avidly reading this site for the past few months.

Shane we were lucky in my area, there was no flooding around the neighborhood but on the way to Davids place I passed a few streets where lanes were closed due to mud all over the lanes.

Yeah, that's one of the perks living down here, Deane. I can't imagine what you folks must go through waaaaay up there during the winter months. No driveways to dig out, here . . . To say the least.

 

Red Robin in San Mateo on January the 14th, everyone?

Hey, Deane, you are invited, as well.

 

Where I am its hit and miss as to snow. Some years real bad (last 3-4) and some years none that stays more than a few days. 10.5 horsepower snowblower does all the work. Gets down to maybe 15 degrees coldest but most days in winter are around 30> degrees. Warmer and less snow than most of your northern states.
Lots of snowbirds here. I may be one of them in a few years.

 

Thanks for the invite Andy and I'll take a rain check. If you only knew how appealing that sounds.

Big Sur may be in my plans some day so maybe we can coordinate with a meet.
