Okay, I call BS on that. I moved to the SF Bay Area from OC, and I can tell you that being stuck on the 880 in the rain sucks about as bad as being stuck on the 5 or 405.

Worse, actually, when you factor in road conditions. Whoever paved the 880 must have been drunk - the freeway goes up and down on perfectly flat ground.

Its funny i just went through this whole "hella" conversation about a week ago with some people i met in SoCal. All i have to say is that the people in NorCal are hella better drivers in rain. lol. good stuff guys.

LA freeways are generally better built than 3 lane freeways in the bay. When it rains in the bay all the water just build up on the freeway.

You guys down in SoCal have hella freeways so you guys use THE 5, THE 605.
Up here in the Yay, excuse me the Bay or NorCal, our freeways don't sound right with THE in front of them.
Take THE 80 to THE 680 then take THE 580 to THE 880 North

Hella

Be cool :-)

For me, I wouldnt' care much about being Northern CA or southern Cali. If we happend to see each other somewhere on the road, just be cool to each other, a quick head nod would be great...not killing each others. I thought it would be nice to have couple G35 go side by side!!! if we have to release our daily stress, I would say do that to some other car...LOL

Sacramento man...

BASE ACURA TLX NOW WANT A G35 AGAIN THOUGH
Couple weeks back I was coming back from V. Fair, the weather conditions were "hella" poor and you know it gets dark "hella" early these days and their aren't a whol "hella" lot of lights on 280...so driving up to SF hella" cautiously doing 60-65 rain conditions, I saw 2 other "hella" nice G's...we were "hella" just pacing each other...we don't wanna "hecka" wreck our cars in the rain...just did the look over cruised side-by-side and went our separate ways after the 92 split. that's the "hecka of a" and a "hella of a" way to do it ya know what I'm saying you fo shizzle my neegah? Do you understand the words coming out of my mouth? hahhaaa

happy new year guys drive safe

"Hella" is short for "hell of". I still use "hella" to this day. At one point my brother and I used it so much my Dad started saying it too.

PS - The guy in the black coupe sounds like a real d*ck.

Yeah I am new to So Cal from Chicago and now you guys got me saying hella too. I can;t go back and visit Chi-town (Shy-Town) like this. Our version of hella is "mad".

So instead of its "hella" cold its "maddd" cold.... or else we fall back on its f**king cold.

Now If I can stop saying hella.
