Good point. Maybe I should get a bike instead of a blower...

Instead getting a bike, why not just put a deposit on that M3

I would never buy a BMW since personally I think they are ugly and the interior is VERY outdated compared to Japanese luxury cars... very overpriced for what you're actually getting.

I was actually going to buy an M3 before I bought my G for $62K OTD... I changed my mind after I saw the interior and I test drove the G35 6MT. I figured with the $23K I was saving, I could build my own daily driver Skyline Turbo with all the goodies exactly the way I want it and STILL have money for my new R1 and STILL LOOK 10X better than any BMW. Oh, and NO BREAKDOWNS or problems.

All of my buddies with 70-80K BMWs and 100K Benzos are very flashy but they all complain about things going wrong in their cars and they always have loaners. If I had that much cash to play with, I'd import a R34 Skyline GT-R or put a down payment on an ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH.

I hope my name wasn't implemented for the Avic or R1! If I had anything to do with your spending habits, don't let your wife know!

BTW, if you need any maintnence help on an R1, I have the stands, tools and knowhow......and I got a hookup on insurance too!

I agree with nothing you have said regarding the M3, but I still give you major props in trying to build an M3-slayer.

Well I am in the same boat, I have no idea how much i'm in but i'm def. in deep.

June it goes back into the shop for new forged internals and a bigger blower so it is never ending...lol

And because I am still not completely satisfied, I am prob. getting a Porsche 911/996 TT later this year also. I know I have lost my marbles

Following your logic, wouldnt it be better to get a V-8 Vantage rather than that over priced Vanquish? just think the money you are going to save, with money left over, what other cars you can pruchase also, like maybe a 911 trubo/SL/Viper/S8/3 Exige...ect

Man, I am just obsessed with the VANQUISH though!!! I don't think I could handle driving such an expensive car.

I can't even stand getting dings on my G, I'd probably seriously hurt someone if they flawed my Vanquish if I had one. lol.
